On Wednesday the 10th May it was a foggy, cold day. Kahikatea went on a bus trip to Ferrymead. We went because we wanted to learn about life in the 1850s and how it has changed.

                                              

Life in the 1850´s                                          

In the 1850´s life was hard and difficult because everything took a long time. The females had to wear dresses everyday and the males had to wear itchy clothes. School were different and were hard because the teachers were incredibly harsh to the little, small children. They smacked them and strapped them. In the 1850's they didn't have washing machine so they used their hands. 1850´s don´t have cars, they use horse. In the shop they was little and food is few.

Life in the 2017

In the 2017´s life is very easy, because everything not took long time. The females can not everyday wear A little nauseous dresses and the males can not wear cold, itchy clothes, too. In the 2017´s, school is easy, because the teachers are tender and beautiful, teacher are not incredibly harsh to the little, small children. They are not smacked them and strapped them.

  🐈A place to Sleep🐈

There is a cat in this story, The name of the cat is Puffin, Puffin is boy.    

Puffin went through the cat door and out into the garden. Puffin went warm, quiet place to sleep. Puffin on the big flat rock sleep, Puffin opened one eye and saw a mokomoko.  Mokomoko said“ This is my rock” . Puffin on the barn sleep, but mouse said “ That’s our hay, Puffin”.Puffin on the grass sleep, but some cows said“ Moove moove moove ”. Puffin through the cat door, He found the perfect place to sleep.
